I was introduced to crossfit by my partner a few years ago who opened White Cliffs Crossfit in Dover. I’ll always remember my first visit to the box, standing there staring in complete awe at the men and women thinking, I want to be like that. The physical and mental challenge that Crossfit gives me is like no other sport. I love being part of the community, when you reach that dark place in a WOD and all you want to do is give up, you know that you can rely on your fellow crossfitters as they are all behind you, supporting and cheering refusing to let you quit.
When you’re not in the box?
When I am not training, I coach at White Cliffs Crossfit and I work part time as a sports coach facilitating P.E lessons in primary schools around the south-east. When I am not training or working I am usually resting up and eating up whether that be surrounded by friends and family or at home chilling in my pants
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
My breakfast! Without fail every morning I will cook bacon, boiled eggs and avocado. It is my favorite meal of the day and is definitely worth getting out of bed for.
Winston Churchill. You have to fail often and fail forward. If you are not willing to fail, you’re never going to put up that last shot.
